Meet miguel
Our Coco Litter and Western Litter wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for our junior board member, Sky, and a TikTok video shared by a volunteer.
Sky came across a video showing two litters of young puppies sitting in an Oklahoma shelter. The caption said they had just 24 hours before they would be euthanized for lack of space.
That was all we needed to hear.
We jumped into action. In less than 24 hours, our rescue partner application was submitted and approved, both litters were safely on hold, and we were on the road to Oklahoma City.
There wasn’t a lot of time to plan or overthink it. There were puppies who needed someone to say yes—and thanks to Sky spotting that video, we had the chance to be that someone.
Two litters. One TikTok video. Less than 24 hours.
And a whole bunch of little lives that now get the chance to find their forever families. ❤️
Dogs first. Always.
