BOOMER is a 3 year old Aussiepoo mix whose world was turned upside down when his family broke up. Through no fault of his own, he became collateral damage of a broken relationship, losing the life he knew. Its been a stressful and emotional time for this tender-hearted boy, and what BOOMER needs now is stability, love, and someone who intends to stay. BOOMER is a gentle soul who is very much in tune with his persons emotions. He bonds deeply and loves being close. Hell happily relax with you, but dont mistake that for being a couch potato. Those Aussie genes are alive and well, and BOOMER has a body and a brain that need to be kept busy. Hell thrive in a calm active home where hell get plenty of exercise, stimulation and a job that will keep that clever mind occupied. A bored BOOMER might just invent his own job and his choice of employment might not be on your approved list. BOOMER has lived with other dogs and cats. He likes other dogs, but he LOVES cats. Felines are his people too! Hes good with kids too, but his Aussie tendencies will sometimes make an appearance. He can be mouthy and nip at heels when his inner herding dog decides its time to get a move on. More than anything, BOOMER needs someone who understands that beneath the intelligence and energy is a sweet boy whos been thru a lot of change. He doesnt need chaos. He needs activity without turmoil, consistency, guidance without harshness, and a person to give him the security he lost. BOOMER is housebroken, up to date, and will be neutered.
