Meet houdini
Meet Houdini!Houdini is a sweet, sensitive 3 year old male mixed breed looking for a place to rest his head at night! Weighing in at about 55 pounds, he firmly believes he can climb into anyones lap easily! Coming to us in rough condition, this boy is absolutely ready to hunker down and soak up all the love and attention! Sweet and friendly, he does still take some time to trust completely. He may be a little more sensitive, but it makes it so much more worth it when he finally does trust whole heartedly!Houdini wants the simple things in life- a nice bed, couch, blanket, crate, whatever it may to rest and settle on! He may not romp around and play with many toys but he is perfectly content being by your side and laying around with you! Houdini was dog tested while in our care, and while he was insecure and uncomfortable, he shows some potential with the right dog. For this reason, we would require that Houdini and any new dogs friends he may have do slow, thoughtful introductions to ensure everyone feels completely comfortable interacting with one another! At this time, we are unsure of how Houdini would do with cats.If there are children in his forever home, we ask they are 13+ due to his initial sensitives so they are able to give Houdini the space he requests at times!Interested in helping Houdini complete his best trick yet of escaping the shelter?
