- Ready to make new human friends, especially if you have treats! - May prefer to explore and do her own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once she's in a loving home environment and has had time to decompress - Knows sit, stay, AND shake - good girl! - Leashes well but gets excited about world explorations; will do best with a harness on walking adventures - Young kiddos may overwhelm this gal; would benefit from a more mature family that understands dog body language and boundaries (mature home recommended) - Can be socially awkward around other dogs; slow, careful introductions are best (dog intro recommended) - Needs a home with no cats The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
