- Very playful and full of energy; loves playing with toys - Likes people and will come right up and ask you for pets - Often prefers to explore and do his own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once he's in a home environment and has had time to decompress - Knows sit and loves treats - Was crate-trained and mostly potty trained in his previous home, although he would have accidents sometimes - Has lived with teenagers but young, noisy or busy children can be too much for him; would benefit from a more mature home where all family members are old enough to work with him on confidence-building - Has spent time in dog play groups here at the shelter and will wrestle and play chase; overall has gotten along well with the other dogs and has listened to their signals - May take some time to warm up to new dogs and may prefer some dogs over others; may do best with a more relaxed, low-key dog friend and would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new dogs (dog intro recommended) This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed.
