Meet Kai!
At just 1-year-old, Kai is still learning his manners and basic commands. Like many young dogs, he can be a little demanding when he wants attention, but his enthusiasm for life is impossible not to love. He's a happy, healthy, curious little guy who is always ready to explore the world around him.
Kai loves chewing on pet-safe bones, playing with squeaky toys, sniffing everything on walks and around the house, and learning new things and spending time with his favorite people.
Kai is both potty trained and crate trained, giving him a great foundation for success in his new home. He does experience separation anxiety, so he will need a patient adopter who can help him build confidence and adjust to new surroundings at his own pace.
Because Kai can be nervous around fast movements and may be fearful of small children, he would do best in a home with adults or with older, respectful kids who understand how to interact with dogs appropriately.
