Lucille LaRue’s tail wags so quickly it’s almost too fast to see! 🚀

We couldn’t be happier that she’s wagging her tail so much, because she came to us from a hoarding situation, and she’s now experiencing the good life 🍽️🥂.

She is incredibly resilient and is such a happy little girl! 😄 Lucille’s favorite thing in the world to do is roll around getting her back scratches on grass, carpet or basically any surface. 🤣😆 She takes such pleasure in exploring the yard and sunbathing 🌞 – she’ll be your reminder to touch grass 🌱🌳. She even wants to go outside when it is 😎 super hot. She likes to play with stuffies with squeakers, and she does pretty well on the leash if you want to take a walk.

Lucille is loving and eager to please. She does well with kids, though she might be timid at first with new people. But just for a little bit. 😻 She gets along fine with other dogs. We don’t know about cats. She prefers to have human or canine company, since she was never really alone in her previous home. At night, she sleeps in bed with her foster people 😴.

If you have a fenced yard, you’ll need to be diligent about checking for little places that Lucille could get through. She should always be on a leash if she’s not in a fenced space, because she might be a flight risk.

She is house-trained and crate-trained, though she doesn’t super love the crate. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Her adoption fee is $225.
