    Hi, I'm Jaxpot!   I'm a 6 year old, neutered male, weighing around 75-80 pounds. I might be a golden retriever mix. Foster mom says I'm mixed with a gooey marshmallow because I'm so very sweet and so very fluffy. I am perfectly house trained and walk well on leash. I have an easy-going, mellow personality. In fact, foster mom has not heard me bark even once! I did the saddest little howls when I first arrived in my foster home and had to be by myself for a bit, but after just a couple days, I settled in and learned the routine and then I wasn't upset anymore. I'm a quick learner like that!   My "likes" include: * Being with my person. I'm not a velcro dog that has to be right next to you, but I do like to just be around you, especially during bad weather because it's scary. * I lived with another dog and a cat in my previous home, so I seem to be fine with other animals. * Treats! I will sit and shake your hand for them. * Toys! I like to toss them around and I don't tear them up. * Leisurely strolls around the neighborhood.    My "dislikes" include: * Bad weather. Rain and thunder scare me! If my person keeps me company during the bad weather, then it's not so scary and I handle it much better. * Intruding while I'm eating. I prefer to have a little space while eating my meals or enjoying a special treat. * Boring food. I'm a picky eater and must have delicious meaty chunks and gravy mixed in with my kibble. * Tiny children who run around and trigger my herding instincts.
