Meet Sebastian!At 14 years old, this Shih-tzu found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own. Instead of spending his golden years in the comfort of a loving home, he arrived needing immediate care and compassion.When Sebastian came to us, his coat was so severely matted that it was pulling at his skin and causing painful sores. We rushed him to the emergency veterinarian, where he was safely shaved and made much more comfortable. He also has a large mass on his chest and, while he has medical concerns that come with his age, what shines through most is his incredibly sweet and gentle personality.Sebastian isn`t looking for adventures or long hikes—he`s looking for peace, kindness, and a soft place to rest. He would thrive in a calm, quiet home where he can enjoy the love and comfort he deserves for whatever time he has left.Because of Sebastian`s age and medical needs, his adoption fee has been waived. We`re simply hoping to find a special person or family willing to open their heart to a senior dog who has so much love left to give.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
