Meet tank tiny best friend
This is Tank, a one-year-old Chihuahua mix (our best guess is Chihuahua/Rat Terrier), and if love could be bottled up into one tiny dog, it would look exactly like him. With his adorable oversized ears, expressive little face, and the cutest black-and-white spotted coat, Tank has mastered the art of stealing hearts. One look at him flopped upside down with his tiny legs in the air, and you'll understand why everyone who meets him instantly falls in love.
Tank's foster lovingly calls him her "emotional support Chihuahua," and honestly, it's the most accurate job title he's ever had. This little guy's favorite place in the entire world is wherever you are. Pick him up, settle into the couch, and don't be surprised if he's asleep in your lap within minutes. He wants to be as close to his people as physically possible, whether that's curled up in your arms, tucked under a blanket beside you, or following you from room to room like the world's tiniest, cutest shadow.

But don't let all those cuddles fool you—Tank has a hilarious, playful side too! The moment it's time for fun, he's off doing zoomies around the house, wrestling with his doggy friends, tossing his toys around, and making everyone laugh with his silly little antics. He has that perfect balance that so many people dream about: playful enough to keep life exciting, but calm and cuddly enough to happily spend an entire evening snuggled on the couch.
Tank is living in a loving foster home where he's thriving. He's friendly to all, making him the kind of pup who can fit into just about any family. Whether your home is full of furry friends or you're looking for a tiny best friend all your own, Tank is ready to settle right in.
He's also crate trained, potty trained, and has wonderful house manners, so he's already got a fantastic head start on life in his forever home. Instead of teaching him all the basics, you get to skip straight to the best part—loving him.
Tank truly is the complete package. He's sweet without being clingy, playful without being wild, and affectionate without ever asking for much in return besides a warm lap and someone to love. He's the kind of dog who makes bad days feel a little lighter and good days even better.
If you've been looking for a tiny best friend who will happily be your adventure buddy by day and your personal heating blanket by night, Tank is ready to fill that role with his whole heart. He isn't just looking for a forever home—he's looking for his forever person, and he'll love them with absolutely everything he's got.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
