Vanilla is living in a foster home in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

Meet Vanilla! Vanilla is a sweet, scruffy dog. She has a quiet, sensitive personality upon first meeting her. In her Texas foster home she lived with lots of other dogs and got along well with all of them. She is the sweetest little girl. Vanilla was an owner surrender in Texas along with her sister Canela.

Vanilla has such a gentle personality and is very polite with all the dogs she lives with. She prefers friends who aren’t too pushy in their play style and would be fine with just snuggling with them. She loves sitting in the sun and soaking in the rays.

While she’s technically a puppy, she’s very mature. She loves to be by her people and has lived with polite children. She’s learning the ways of leash walks because she has always had a fenced yard in foster.

Vanilla will make a wonderful companion for someone who can commit to the long life of little dogs and be her forever home!

Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
