Meet reuben
Reuben came to us through Des Moines Animal Rescue League. My wife fell in love with him and he bonded with her. He is a gentle dog, though he can also be playful. We have four dogs and four cats and he gets along with all of them.
We raised chickens for almost a year. We used him to herd the chickens back into the coop. He was very good at it. The chickens would see him come into the yard and would go into the coop on their own. He was very proud of his work.
My wife is having health issues that require more of my time. She has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, which is a neurological disorder. As a result I need to streamline my life to take care of her needs. So it is with great reluctance we are seeking to rehome Reuben.
He loves the outdoors. We need to take him outside frequently during the day. He should be in a home that has a fenced in yard. He would make a good farm dog, as he thoroughly enjoys the outdoors.
