PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Lady! She is approximately 4 years old, 48 lbs currently, and she may have some doodle in her mix! She was surrendered after her former family could no longer care for her. In her foster home, she is doing great with her house training, crate training but isn`t used to going on leashed walks. She could join households with other dogs, kids 10+ and previously lived with dog-savvy cats. Lady is very sweet but very shy and will need a patient adopter who can help her grow her confidence. She would benefit from a quiet home with a fenced yard. Her foster says, Lady is a beautiful, sweet girl. She`s very shy and will take a bit to warm up to people but it is so worth the wait. She is the best, most gentle and loveable girl and should be fine with kids, ages 10+. She is non-destructive,well-behaved and has never had an accident inside. She follows the commands sit, shake and down. In fact, she loves to `hold hands.` Her previous owner said she got along great with her cats, has always lived with other dogs and loves about any vegetables and fruits.`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on August 14.
