PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Bridget! She is approximately 1.5 years old, 61 lbs currently, and she may have some hound in her mix! She was found as a heartworm positive stray with her litter of puppies, all of whom have found homes to call their own. Now it`s Bridget`s turn! She has been treated for heartworms and is ready for adoption.In her foster home, she is doing great with her house training and leash walking, but she doesn`t have any crate training experience yet. She could join households with other dogs, kids 5+, and dog-savvy cats.Her foster says, `Watching Bridget evolve has truly been amazing to watch. She went from a sweet mama surviving on the streets and taking such good care of her babies to a girl coming into her own skin. She does so good with my kitties and my kids and my senior dog. She is just an easy going gal. The first time she gave me kisses I just melted. I think she would be able to be adapt to almost any lifestyle with a family. She is a little shy at first but comes around to be so loving and sweet. Hope she gets the BEST home. She deserves it.`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth in August, or possibly earlier.
