Meet benito
Benito is probably one of the most handsome beagles we've had. Super sweet, too!
Benito came to us heartworm positive and recently completely the harsh ordeal of heartworm treatment and it worked beautifully. Benito is now heartworm negative !! Yippee!
It only takes one bite of one nasty mosquito to wreak havoc on a pet and sometimes owners don't even know until it's too late. Annual testing and prevention is key to keeping pets heartworm free and it's so worth it. Treatment is expensive and if untreated causes severe physical suffering, characterized by progressive suffocation, heart failure, and exhaustion. It's a terrible, totally preventable death.
Enough of that, now it's time to celebrate and find Benito's rightful companion/family. This pup deserves the best and we're expectantly optimistic we'll find that lucky person/family sooner than later!
