Meet izzie
Izzie is a sweet 30lb 6 yr old beabull (french bulldog beagle mix). She is a rescue from a commercial breeding kennel whose puppy making days are officially behind her. Izzie is looking for that special someone to help her break out of her shell. Izzie is shy and timid with new people but once she is comfortable she enjoys and solicits pets and attention. She has previously lived with children and does very well in her foster home with young children, following them around and shows curiosity in what they are doing. She appears to be mostly housebroken and waits until she goes outside to do her business. She’s reluctant to go into a crate but will do so with encouragement. She will cry for a short period of time in the crate before settling down and falling asleep. She also leaves her crate clean with no accidents. She does well on a lead outdoors but a fence would be preferred as she does like to try to run out any open door and enjoys being outside. Izzie also does extremely well with others dogs, both big and small, and shows no interest in cats or chickens. She will do best with a person or family willing to give her the time and patience she needs to adjust to new surroundings. Izzie is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.00.
