Meet angie
Meet Angie. Angie is a 5 year old female Bernese Mountain Dog who weighs 98 lbs. She came to us from a breeder. Angie is doing her best to figure out what it means to live in a house. Angie has not had any accidents in the house. She's skiddish with loud noises and quick movements. Angie paces in the house, going back and forth to see where the people are. Angie does well in a crate that she can see through. Crating Angie actually gives her time to rest. Angie met some neighbor kids and did well with them, but would prefer to have it quiet. A yard with a fence is a must because Angie doesn't like the leash and attempts to dart away when on a leash. Angie has seen cats through a fence and will stand there watching them. Angie has also briefly had cats walk past her with no barriers and she did not try to go after them. We did find a mass on Angie's leg when she came to the rescue. It was removed when she was spayed. The biopsy did show mast cell cancer and it was completely removed. We don't know at this point if it will re-occur or how long she had the lump but it is now completely removed. Angie will need a home that will spoil her no matter how long she may have. Angie is microchipped, up to date with her vaccines, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
