Meet hook
Meet Hook!
Hook is a sweet senior gentleman, around 7–8 years old, who is looking for a loving forever home where he can spend his days doing what he loves most: **getting snacks and snuggles!**
Hook is currently enjoying life in a foster home with a cat, and he absolutely loves his feline friend. He has also previously lived with dogs, so he may be a great fit for a home with other furry companions.
This handsome boy is **super chill, incredibly sweet, and an all-around very good boy**. He is crate trained, house trained, and up to date on his vaccines. Hook is also working on his health and fitness journey—he has already made amazing progress, dropping from nearly **80 pounds to the 60-pound range!** He is continuing on a diet to help him reach his healthiest weight.
Hook does have thyroid disease, which is managed with daily thyroid medication. He will also need routine bloodwork every 3–4 months to monitor his thyroid levels. His medical needs are manageable, and he is ready to shower his family with all the love he has to give.
If you're looking for a laid-back, loving companion who is happiest curled up beside you with a snack nearby, **Hook may be your perfect match!** ❤️
