She loves everyone she meets and is happiest when she's playing, exploring, or soaking up affection from her favorite people.This smart girl is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and is quickly mastering her basic commands. She's dog, cat, and kid-friendly, though because she's still a young, energetic pup learning her manners, she'd do best with children ages 7 and up.Mayo would thrive in an active home where she can burn off her puppy energy before curling up for a well-earned cuddle. She loves zooming around the yard, chewing on sticks and bones, and playing tug with her toys—but she's not destructive. She's also very food motivated, making continued training a breeze.At around 40 pounds, Mayo is believed to be full grown. After being found wandering a Dallas neighborhood with no one to claim her, she's ready to leave her past behind and find the loving forever family she deserves.OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
