Meet Clairee – a soft-hearted, sensitive girl who just needs a little time and love to truly shine. Weighing in at 48 pounds, Clairee is gentle, sweet, and dog-friendly. She’s house trained, crate trained, and has a quiet, thoughtful demeanor once she feels comfortable. Though she can be timid and nervous in new situations, with patience and reassurance, she gradually opens up and shows her affectionate side.

Clairee is looking for a quiet, understanding home with a family who will give her the time she needs to build trust and confidence. A calm canine companion could help her feel more secure as she settles into her new life.

Clairee was found abandoned with her mom and siblings, but she’s come a long way from those uncertain beginnings. She was born on April 23, 2023, and is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. If you’re ready to help a shy but loving pup find her place in the world, Clairee is waiting for you.

All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee for this pet is $200 plus a sponsored transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
