4 week update from fosters

Calling all GERMAN SHEPARD lovers.

Hi, my name is Malfoy but my foster parents call me Asher. I am a 9 year old male German Shepard but don’t let my age fool you I still have so much spunk in me. I love short walks, playing fetch, and chewing up toys. I am a typical German Shepard where my ball is my life and I carry it around everywhere I go. I am very smart, playful, and very food motivated and already know how to sit and give paw. I am potty trained and the way I left them know is my pawing at my foster parents or stand by the back door. I am crate trained but I don’t like being in my crate very much.

Malfoy AKA Asher has been with us for 4 weeks and has already warmed up and feels comfortable in our home. He is great with our other dogs and is a fantastic around our 6 & 7 year olds. My daughter or I plays fetch with him multiple times a day. He loves my daughter and follows her around everywhere and plays with her. He loves to play fetch and is such a good boy and drops the ball in my hands when I say drop it. He has no food aggression towards people. We can stick our hands in his bowl and he is fine with it. At night he likes to jump up on the couch and cuddle with my husband all night. He loves being with his person and he will follow you all over the house like a shadow all day long. It is very obvious from being with us for such a short time that he did have a family at one point. The shelter informed us he came in as a stray and no one came forward for him. Somehow, Some way, or someone grinded all his teeth down. If you look into his mouth all his teeth are shorter and look as if they were filed down or from him chewing while a stray on things he should not have been. Either way, it doesn’t not stop him from being an incredibly loving and loyal boy!
