Meet Blue, a beautiful brindle girl who arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 7/10. When her family learned she was here, they chose to surrender her. They shared that Blue is house-trained, good with children, and friendly with both cats and dogs. The shelter has been overwhelming for this sweet girl, and volunteers describe her as very shy and frightened right now. We believe that with a little time, patience, and a loving home, Blue's true personality will shine. She also appears to have an old injury to one of her eyes that doesn't seem to bother her, though it should be evaluated by a veterinarian. If your heart goes out to the quiet dogs who are so often overlooked, Blue is waiting to meet you. She doesn't need perfection—she just needs someone willing to give her a chance.

Blue is approximately 2 years old and weighs 47 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been spayed, and did test negative for heartworms. She will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Blue in kennel 800; her ID # is 20718.
