Meet Mozart, an 11-month-old, 74-pound Irish Setter/Labrador Retriever mix who's ready to find a family to call his own!Mozart came to the shelter as a stray with another dog, Moshka. While they arrived together, they do not need to be adopted together and are each looking for the home that's the best fit for them.Even though we don't know much about Mozart's past, here's what we've learned about him:🐶 Good with other dogs🐱 Good with cats👧 Good with kids❤️ Social and enjoys being around peopleLike many dogs who have experienced uncertainty, Mozart can be snatchy with food. We don't know if he ever had to compete for meals before coming to the shelter, but because of this behavior, his future family should be mindful during feeding time and continue working with him using positive reinforcement to build good food manners.Mozart is still a young dog with so much life ahead of him. He has all the ingredients to become an incredible family companion—he just needs someone willing to give him the love, structure, and security he deserves.✨ Mozart is scheduled to be neutered on Thursday, July 23, and will be available for adoption beginning Friday, July 24.
