Hey everybody my name is Doc. I am a 3-year-old shih Tzu mix, and as you can see I am quite the dapper young man. I was just groomed so I am extremely handsome right now and I'm looking for my forever family. My forever family should be kind of low-key with only older children. I'm good with other dogs I don't bother the cats and I love lots of attention and pets from my human. I am a sweet little boy with a silly disposition. I do have one more request for my new family I do want lots of toys from you and in return I will give you lots of kisses.

Our adoption process is usually quick but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application on our website, PawsUp4Rescue.org/adopting as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require them to be present at the meeting to ensure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption.

If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and will gladly consider your family for another dog.
