Meet Tony! SEE FOSTER UPDATES BELOW! HOUSE-TRAINED AND LOVES OTHER PUPS & KIDS!
At six months old and 40 pounds, Tony is one terrific pointer/hound pup who's growing into the perfect adventure buddy!
Tony is currently living it up in a fabulous foster home and we are excited to share all we've learned about this loyal and loving boy! Tony is already house-trained and was going through the process of crate-training. He's a lovey-dovey boy who absolutely adores other dogs and kids! He lives with two other pups and young children and does very well with both of them.
This fun-loving boy will thrive in an active home with lots of daily exercise, continued training, and a yard to enjoy (tie out or fenced-in required). Tony is a very capable boy and already knows "sit" and "paw," making him a wonderful candidate for training. He loves exploring the world with his nose and has a blast sniffing out all the exciting sights and smells around him. If you're looking for a pal to keep you company on all of your adventures-Tony is your man!
When it comes to toys and treats, Tony is appreciative of anything you have to offer. His foster family was able to take both toys and food away with no issue. He has been known to chase a squirrel or two so a home free of cats or small animals would be best. Tony is looking for a family that will help him continue to gain confidence and discover just how wonderful life can be! A home where someone is around during the day or that will include him in daily activities would be best for him. At the end of the day, Tony sleeps quietly through the night.
Based on our evaluation, we feel Tony would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages five and up. He may have the ability to live in a home with other dogs and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.
