Meet Buffy! ☀️
Buffy is a big, sunny, smiley girl with an even bigger heart. Found as a stray in South Dakota, this lovable lady greets each day with a happy face and her signature "helicopter tail" that spins in circles whenever she's excited.
Buffy is on an inspiring weight-loss journey, already making progress with daily walks and a healthier diet. She loves peaceful morning strolls, relaxing outside to watch the world go by, and soaking up affection from her favorite people. She's gentle, intelligent, and gets along well with resident dogs she knows, though she can be reactive to unfamiliar dogs on leash and will need continued management and training in those situations.
Buffy also has some arthritis, so she takes medication to keep her comfortable and would thrive in a low-key home without lots of stairs. She previously had a benign growth removed from one of her toes, and while it may return in the future, she's currently doing well.
