Hello, my name is Dizzy, and I'm from Minnesota!
From the foster:
She is truly a treasure who loves playing with other dogs, is a total cuddle bug, is very trainable (excluding alone time barking and howling, which I personally don’t consider a training issue, per se), was comfortable when introduced to kids, is calm in the car, has a bladder of steel (not once has she had an accident or even asked to go outside), is not reactive to sounds, and rarely barks when not alone. She can be quite skittish meeting some new people. She is obsessed with squirrels.
Dizzy is an absolute sweetheart with a heart full of love. She may need a little time to adjust and get used to new people, but once she feels secure, she is good forever! Get ready for unlimited tail wags, cuddle sessions, and routine request for belly rubs. She is house-trained and crate-trained. She loves companionship, but is quite chill, and is happy to just be in the same room as her people. When left alone, she will probably miss you and sing a little song, but has been adjusting and calming down and she grows more confident that her human will return. She is relatively low energy and likes walks, but not long ones. She knows "sit" and is quickly learning "come", "stay", "lay down", and "drop it"; and are working on retrieving! She would thrive in a loving home ready to give her all the affection she deserves!
