Meet cozy
Cozy was acquired as a rescue in Austin, TX, and has been with me since he was 6 months old. He is 7 years old. He’s an American Pit Bull Terrier mix (APBT, Chow Chow, Boxer, Doberman). I’m looking for an experienced adopter, ideally with prior experience handling fearfully reactive dogs. Cozy needs an owner committed to continuing his training protocol (LAT, BAT, threshold management) and working with his current trainer or an equally qualified force-free/balanced trainer experienced in fear-based reactivity. A home with manageable street/dog exposure (not a high-density area with constant close passes) and no small resident dogs would set him up for success. Patience, consistency, and a calm household are essential.
