Don't let the name fool you—Blizzard is much more interested in warming your lap than causing a snowstorm! This 2-year-old, 27-pound Border Collie mix came to the shelter as a stray and was a little nervous at first, but he's been showing us what a sweet boy he really is.
Blizzard is a bit undersocialized and startles easily, so he's looking for a patient family that will help him build confidence at his own pace. Once you've earned his trust, though, this affectionate guy transforms into a total cuddle bug who thinks laps are the best place to be! A few tasty treats don't hurt either—he's somewhat food motivated, which makes winning him over even easier.
Because he can be startled by sudden movements or surprises, we recommend a home with kids 6 and older.
