Say hello to Jax!
Jax is a handsome man and he'd love a place to call his own. Jax is suspected to be a cattle dog mix, but he's only about 35 lbs - a pocket heeler! He is anxious and a little nervous around new people and would likely do best in a quiet home with some time to decompress and show you his true personality. Jax is an energetic dog and he thrives off of daily walks, play, and enrichment to keep him happy. He has previously lived with other dogs, even dogs several times his own size, and done well with them. Jax has no experience with cats and would benefit from a slow introduction to ensure the safety and comfort of all animals.
Jax is in our special adoption program which helps set up adopters and their new dog for success with pre and post adoption counseling.
