Meet Scobby!Scobby is a high-energy, 51lb, 2-year-old, Alaskan Malamute who is ready to find a family to call his own. Through no fault of his own, he was surrendered to the shelter and is now hoping for a fresh start with people who will love him forever.According to his previous owner, Scobby gets along well with other dogs and does great with children of all ages, making him a wonderful candidate for an active family. He hasn`t been around cats, so his compatibility with feline friends is unknown.Scobby is comfortable spending time in a crate, which can be a great tool as he settles into a new home. He is not yet housetrained, so he`ll need a patient family willing to help him learn a consistent routine. With positive reinforcement, structure, and plenty of opportunities to succeed, he has the potential to make great progress.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
