Meet Winston!
Winston is a sweet young Black Lab mix who is looking for a family to call his own. We estimate he's around 4 years old, and he has the perfect combination of playful energy and laid-back charm.
This handsome boy walks well on a leash, making him a wonderful companion for neighborhood strolls, park adventures, or simply enjoying the outdoors together.
Winston's favorite place, though, is right next to his people. He's a total cuddle bug who loves affection and is happiest when he's soaking up attention and snuggles.
With his gentle nature, loving personality, and sweet soul, Winston is the kind of dog who quickly becomes part of the family. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will happily join you for walks and then curl up beside you on the couch, Winston may be the perfect match.

The adoption fee is $350 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.
Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.
*****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.
