Meet carolina
Meet Carolina! Carolina is a young adult Aussie (and Heeler?) who wants nothing more than to be your best friend. Timid at first, she is incredibly sweet and once she decides you’re her best friend (which takes no more than 24 hours) she will remind you with licks and hugs and very fast tail wags. She takes longer to warm up to men, but is never aggressive - just wary.
Carolina loves having a doggie companion and while not a requirement, she would like a dog sibling who will agree to play with her sometimes! A dog sibling could also help build her confidence as she navigates family life. When Carolina arrived at our house four days ago she was afraid to go for a walk on a leash, but today she did so alongside our resident dog, and boy was she proud of herself!
She is gentle and has bonded quickly with her human foster siblings, but because she is timid, she would do best in a house with kids 6+ who don’t bring a lot of commotion into every room.
Carolina goes potty outside only. She loves having a fenced yard to explore, and hopes one day to catch a squirrel! She is crate-trained and sleeps through the night. The higher you make your voice while talking to her, the farther she’ll tilt her head to listen 🥰 She’s about 30lbs and will be forever grateful to find her forever home and put her days of settling into new places behind her.
