Mira may be a older girl with a few extra pounds and a signature little waddle, but don't let that fool you—this gentle soul is full of love and still has plenty of happy moments to share. She can be a bit shy at first, but she's never afraid of people. In fact, she's happiest when she's close to her favorite person.

If you sit down, don't be surprised if Mira slowly makes her way over and climbs right up your chest just to be near you. She isn't much of a kisser (at least not yet!), but she has her own quiet way of showing affection. She'll follow you from room to room, nap nearby on the couch or in bed, and simply enjoy being part of whatever you're doing. She would happily accompany you everywhere, but she's also content relaxing at home while you're away.

Mira is a wonderfully low-energy companion. Because of her sore knees, extra weight, and a heart murmur that causes an occasional cough, she prefers leisurely strolls over long adventures. Most of the time, she's perfectly happy sniffing every blade of grass in the yard or curling up with one of her beloved chew treats, which she proudly carries back to her bed to enjoy.

Every now and then, though, her playful side peeks through. She'll drop into the cutest little play bow—as if she's about to zoom away—only to wait for you to come "catch" her. It's impossible not to smile at her adorable antics.

Mira has lovely manners around the house and appears to have lived in a home before. She's house-trained, does well when left alone, enjoys relaxing in a fenced yard, and greets new people with quiet acceptance (especially if they come bearing belly rubs!). Even the Fourth of July fireworks didn't seem to bother this easygoing girl.
