She’s working on her potty training - she’s just a puppy! Story: Sam was rescued from a shelter in Alabama. We are so happy to have her safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Sam is such a good girl. She’s gotten the hang of house training faster than any other puppy we’ve had, and she’s starting to understand walking on a leash.  She loves to play with our dog and explore our backyard.  She’s also been great with our kids. I think she might generally love all children- she wags her tail and gets excited whenever she sees them. Sam has puppy energy of course, but she also really likes to just hang out.  She’ll hang on your lap, next to you on the couch, on a dog bed while you’re working from home or in the grass when you’re doing yard work.  She’s also great in the car and has been joining us for quick trips.  Her least favorite place is her crate- she’d rather be with the family of course. She barks when she goes in, but usually settles in quickly. Sam is so easy going that I can see her doing well in almost any environment.  She’s going to be the best little companion, and whoever ends up adopting her will be very lucky! The fee to adopt Sam is $475. That covers the cost of all her vaccines, the collar she’s wearing, and her care in her foster home. She’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.
