Meet hope
Say hello to Hope!
Hope is an easygoing and friendly senior bulldog. She’s short, stout, and only weighs in at 40 lbs (she’d like us to inform you that yes, that means that she is basically lap sized). Hope is very affectionate and loves spending time chilling with her people and soaking up the cuddles. She is always up for snack time but walks or energetic roughhousing is certainly not her thing. As a brachycephalic breed, she is at higher risk of heat stroke and respiratory distress, especially during the hot summer weather - her adopters should have an AC and be willing to allow her to spend her days snoring on their couch. Hope has done well living with cats but she prefers being the only dog in the household. She is great with children and would make a wonderful and affectionate family pet. Hope does have severe dental disease that will need to be treated with a dental surgery to clean and extract any painful teeth. PARL will provide a $300 voucher to help cover this cost.
