Yao is a 4½-year-old friendly, affectionate dog who was rescued as a puppy in Puerto Rico. He has adjusted very well to living indoors and is comfortable in a home environment. He is largely house-trained and rarely has potty accidents inside.
Yao is generally friendly with people and enjoys being around his family. When meeting unfamiliar people, he may feel a bit nervous at first, especially in new settings. However, he warms up quickly once he feels comfortable, and his sweet, friendly personality comes through.
He is a healthy and happy dog who thrives with a consistent routine and a calm, patient introduction to new people. With a little time to settle in, Yao becomes a loyal, loving companion and forms strong bonds with those around him.
We are looking for a home that will give Yao stability, patience, and affection, and where he can continue to thrive.
