Meet rion splash of fun
Rion Splash has a wonderfully uncomplicated philosophy on happiness. She doesn't need to climb mountains or host neighborhood block parties. Give her a basket of toys, a body of water- yes, even a kiddie pool, a family to adore, and she's convinced life is perfect! She greets each day with bright eyes, a wagging tail, and the kind of easy optimism that's delightfully contagious without ever feeling too much.
Go watch Rion Splash on YouTube- it’ll give you a front-row seat to her joyful personality, legendary greetings, and the happiest relationship with water you'll see all week. https://youtu.be/EePaY_QWMPY
One thing you'll probably notice in her video is that Rion is happily blowing her coat. With that gorgeous Husky fluff comes a dog who would be much happier trading hot summers for cooler temperatures, shady trails, crisp mornings, and plenty of opportunities to splash in the nearest creek or lake.
Estimated to be around 2 years old, Rion weighs approximately 52 pounds. She appears to be a Husky mix, though as with all rescue dogs, her breed and age are simply our best educated guess. What we know for certain is that she has one of those personalities that seems permanently switched on- sparkling eyes and a personality that's every bit as warm and friendly as it looks.
Rion has never met a stranger. Just friends who haven't received their welcome kisses yet. Meeting new people is quite possibly her favorite sport. Water is a very close second. The moment someone walks her way, her signature wiggle booty comes to life. Her whole back end starts dancing, her eyes light up, and before long she's happily handing out kisses as though she's welcoming home an old friend instead of someone she met thirty seconds ago. Around here she's earned a reputation for being just a little bit flirty, and honestly, it's hard not to fall for the charm.
She is wonderfully social with both people and other dogs. She genuinely enjoys canine company and would happily spend an afternoon playing with a well-matched pup before settling down for a well-earned nap, but she isn't the kind of dog who needs another dog to complete her world. Give her loving people, a few favorite toys, and somewhere to splash, and she'll be one happy girl.
If toys are involved, YAY!. If water is involved, she's absolutely all in with a double YAY! Whether she's proudly carrying her newest favorite toy around the yard or splashing through a kiddie pool with pure delight, she has a way of making ordinary moments feel like little celebrations. Watching Rion discover water is like watching a kid find the world's greatest amusement park. She simply lights up.
As much as she enjoys playtime, Rion also has a wonderfully soft side. Once she's had her fun, she's more than happy to stretch out beside you for belly rubs, booty scratches, and a chance to simply enjoy being close to her people. She has a lovely off-switch that makes her just as enjoyable during quiet afternoons as she is during adventures.
Rion walks nicely on leash, does well in her kennel, and is still polishing a few of her manners when excitement gets the better of her- but we are not trying to squelch the wiggle fully. She's eager, affectionate, and sometimes forgets that not everyone is quite as thrilled as she is in the moment. The wonderful part is that her enthusiasm is incredibly genuine, and she's the kind of dog who wants nothing more than to learn how to be the very best companion she can be.
We think Rion would thrive in a home that appreciates her sunny outlook while sharing her love for life's simple pleasures. Another playful dog would certainly be welcome, but it isn't a requirement. She's perfectly content making her people the center of her world, especially if they enjoy buying dog toys, exploring places with water, giving generous belly rubs, and soaking up all the joy she brings to everyday life.
If you're looking for a dog who reminds you that happiness doesn't have to be complicated, Rion Splash is ready to show you exactly how wonderful the simple life can be.
