Meet Hensley! 🐾❤️
Hensley’s story began with heartbreak. After being abandoned on the side of the road, this sweet boy stayed faithfully in the very same spot for three days, hoping the people he loved would come back for him. Thankfully, Hensley is safe now - and his next chapter is going to be so much brighter!
Hensley is a sweet, smart, affectionate boy who is always ready for his next adventure. He’s food-motivated, eager to learn, and listens incredibly well, making him a wonderful dog for someone who enjoys training and working together with their pup. He’s already crate trained, a great leash walker and picks up new things quickly. He can be a little shy when meeting new people but is highly food motivated and easy to win over! ❤️
This handsome guy has plenty of energy and will thrive with a family ready to give him both physical and mental enrichment. He loves chasing little butterflies through the grass and exploring anywhere he can! One of Hensley's favorite things in the world is water! He's not exactly the most graceful swimmer, but what he lacks in swimming skills, he more than makes up for with enthusiasm and pure joy!
But once the fun is over, Hensley knows how to relax. He absolutely loves curling up on the couch, getting close and will often ensure he’s touching his favorite person. He gives wonderful face kisses, frequently offers adorable nose boops, and is always happy to hang out by your side! ❤️
Hensley is looking for someone who will appreciate his playful, energetic side while also giving him the structure, enrichment, and love he needs to continue thriving.
