Meet blue
We rescued Blue through “Almost Home Canine Rescue” 5 years ago when she was just 12– 13 weeks old from a reservation in South Dakota. She is a mixed breed and her top three breeds that came back from her cheek swab were Cattle dog, husky and bulldog.
She loves to be outside, she has grown very anxious over the last year and has become more and more unpredictable with her behavior. We have two small children and she has done pretty well with both of the so far but her behavior is starting to become worrisome that I cannot trust her to be around them all of the time.
We are looking for a home with a big outdoor space or land for her to run around on and be more free and less anxious. She has slowly over the last year learned that showing her teeth and squealing will get people to back away if there is something she does not want to do. We have been to our vet and have started her on an anxiety medication but not sure that it is working so far. She is fearful/scared but not aggressive.
