Holy Mackerel... just look at those ears! We can't decide if they're satellite dishes, tiny bat wings, or perfectly engineered cuddle antennas—but one thing is certain: this pocket-sized, approximately 9-month-old pup is impossible not to fall for!

Holy Mackerel is equal parts playful teenager and professional snuggler. She approaches life with wide-eyed enthusiasm, convinced that every person, dog, and adventure is worth getting excited about. Once she's had a chance to get the wiggles out, though, she's all about the cuddles. Her favorite place to be is curled up in your arms like a baby while you rub her tummy as she drifts off to sleep.

Like many pups her age, Holy Mackerel is still learning the ropes. She already knows "sit" and "come," rides beautifully in the car (usually snoozing the whole way), is comfortable in her crate, and is making steady progress with house training. She's easily distracted because the world is just so exciting, but with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, she's eager to keep learning!

Holy Mackerel loves meeting new people and dogs and is always ready to make a friend. Sometimes her puppy excitement is a little bigger than her tiny frame, but she settles in nicely once the introductions are over. We think she'd likely enjoy having a confident canine sibling to show her the ropes, though she'd also thrive with adopters ready to continue her training and help her grow into the amazing adult dog she's already well on her way to becoming.

Her ideal day? Sleeping in, going for a walk, curling up on (or preferably attached to) her favorite person for a long nap, a trip to the park, another nap, a game of fetch with her rope toy, chewing on a bone, an evening burst of zoomies, one last walk, a bedtime snack, and—naturally—even more sleep.

Holy Mackerel is silly, affectionate, endlessly charming, and has just the right amount of energy for someone looking for a fun companion who also takes cuddling very seriously. If you're looking for a best friend who's equal parts adventure buddy, road-trip copilot, and expert lap warmer, we'd say you've found quite the catch. No fish tale here, this sweet little pup is ready to make a splash!

This dog is considered a mixed breed because it’s not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.
