Kiwi is living in a foster home in Lake Mills, Wisconsin.

Kiwi and his two siblings, born on March 22, were surrendered by their owner when their family could no longer care for them due to having a six month old baby and being in the middle of a move. Kiwi is a very sweet and loving puppy who weighs 5 pounds and has a wonderful mix of playful energy and affectionate charm. He enjoys playing and then curling up for cuddles, making him an easy companion to fall in love with. Kiwi gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves spending time playing with them. As soon as they came into rescue, Kiwi and his siblings were taken to the veterinarian to receive their age appropriate vaccinations and begin preventative care. His future adopter will need to have him neutered by six months of age and enroll him in positive, in person puppy training classes to help him grow into a happy, well adjusted companion.

Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
