Meet kovu
Kovu is 2.5 years old. He's loving and very protective. He thinks he's a lap dog. He loves hugs and cuddles. He needs more obedience training but he's eager to learn! He does the basic sit, come, this way, get it, leave it, and down.
I've had Kovu since he was 9 weeks old. My landlord will not longer let me keep a dog, otherwise I would not be rehoming him. He likes and is good with my grandkids (ages 1 to 16). Although he doesn't know how big he is when he wants to play. I don't want to put him in a shelter for fear of them putting him down if he can't find an adopter.
Kovu is particular about his dog friends - I have neighbors with English Bulldogs that he gets along with but he would need to warm up to new canine friends.
I would like the chance to visit Kovu as he adjusts to his new home and require that potential adopters have a meet-and-greet with him first.
