Meet Dolly: tiny queen, excellent communicator, and professional household supervisor 👑🐾
Dolly is a 4-year-old Shih-Tzu mix weighing in at a dainty 10 pounds, and while she may look like a stuffed animal, this little lady has opinions—and she's not afraid to share them!
Dolly can be shy at first and is sensitive to change, but give her a little patience, respect her boundaries, and you'll earn a loyal best friend. Once she trusts you, she bonds deeply with her people and loves quietly keeping tabs on everyone in the household.
One of Dolly's greatest talents is communication. Need a dog who tells you when she needs to go potty? Dolly's on it. Ready for affection? She'll let you know. Finished being handled? She'll let you know that, too. She's a firm believer that consent matters, and if her requests for space are ignored, she may issue a few polite warning growls. Because of this, she'd do best in a home with adults or older, dog-savvy children who understand and respect her boundaries.
Despite her adorable, fluffy appearance, Dolly is not a full-time lap dog. Think of her as more of an independent consultant—she enjoys affection on her terms but is happiest simply being near her people, supervising household activities.
Dolly's list of dislikes is refreshingly short: thunderstorms, being loomed over, unwanted handling, and large dogs getting too close. In exchange, she offers excellent house manners. She's potty trained, great on leash, doesn't counter surf, is fairly quiet, and is an all-around wonderful companion.
A low-energy girl, Dolly enjoys daily walks, leisurely naps, working on a chew, and quietly shadowing her favorite humans. If you're looking for a sweet, funny, low-maintenance companion with excellent communication skills and just the right amount of sass, Dolly may be your perfect match. 💕🐾
