Meet Casper: friendly, curious, and absolutely not the ghost type 👻🐾
Casper is an 8-month-old Pitbull mix who weighs about 48 pounds and comes fully loaded with puppy enthusiasm, good looks, and a very active curiosity about absolutely everything. If there’s something new to sniff, investigate, or supervise, Casper would like to volunteer immediately.
He’s incredibly friendly and outgoing—the kind of dog who assumes everyone he meets is probably a new friend. Dogs? Love them. Big dogs, small dogs, medium dogs… Casper is happy to hang with them all. He’s a social guy who enjoys canine company and would likely do great with a dog sibling.
Casper may also enjoy having a kid around to play with. He’s been great with his foster mom’s kids and clearly enjoys their company—though, like many growing puppies, he hasn’t quite figured out where all 48 pounds of himself are at any given moment. Personal space awareness is still a work in progress, but his intentions are 100% joyful and friendly.
Like most young pups, Casper has plenty of energy and a healthy sense of adventure, but he’s not the over-the-top chaotic type. Right now, toys aren’t nearly as exciting to him as exploring the world and sticking his adorable nose into whatever interesting thing might be happening nearby.
Casper is the perfect mix of playful, friendly, and curious, and he’s at that wonderful age where he’s ready to learn, bond, and grow with his forever family. If you’re looking for a happy, social pup who will keep you smiling and happily supervise all your daily activities, Casper is ready to report for duty. 💙🐾

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
