Meet floki mcfloof with those baby blues
Husky lovers, do we have a special treat for you! Floki McFloof is an all-around amazing, lovable, handsome, adventurous, and smart boy. He's a total lover boy and the perfect mix of affectionate and fun. Floki sometimes even believes he's a lap dog and will try to sit in your lap for cuddles if you let him. There is so much to love about him and we haven't even gotten to the good stuff yet.

Floki McFloof is believed to be a Husky mix approximately 1-2 years old and currently weighs 46 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.
He is dog friendly and has done well with all the dogs we have introduced him to, and he is fostered in a home with two medium-sized Shiba Inus. Floki loves games of chase, wrestling matches, and if you know Huskies, then you know they like to throw paws and love mouthy type play too. He's not all play all the time though. He knows when it's time to take a play break and enjoys going off to do his own thing or loving up on his people. In a home, he would do great with a fun, happy, confident female dog that likes to play and also appreciates the calmer hangout moments too. If you don't have other dogs, that's fine too. We believe Floki could be just as happy being the center of your attention.
Floki is a smart boy who is treat motivated and loves to please his people. He already knows how to sit, shake, and will even sit automatically sometimes without you asking. His leash skills could use some improvement as he does pull every so often when he gets excited or wants to go smell something. With continued practice and structured leash walks, he'll learn to walk like the gentle prince he is. We can easily see him becoming a great hiking or adventure buddy, and there's a good possibility he's going to love snow too! Floki does great riding in a car and can load up by himself easily and he loves being able to stick his head out the window. This boy was born for adventures and anything with you.
Floki has beautifully balanced energy and is great at matching whatever you need him to be. Want to go on a hike, light run, or neighborhood walk? Floki will be your outdoorsy bestie. Want to relax and have a chill day? Floki will find a cozy spot to lay down and be your cuddly king. He truly is the best of both worlds. He also has great house manners and is crate trained and potty trained. We believe he would do best in a home with a backyard rather than an apartment.

Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for for Canadian adopters). Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!
The adoption fee is $1200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
