Meet sweet Chica. This girl is a rare breed called Xoloitzcuintli - otherwise known as a Mexican Hairless dog. Her owner got her from a breeder as a puppy and took very good care of her. Unfortunately, Chica`s owner tragically passed away and no one in the family was able to take her. She then made her way to us in hopes of finding a new forever home. Chica can be timid to start - and understandably so. She is hopeful her stay with us will be short. Chica would thrive in a quiet, patient home that allows her to open up and adjust at her own pace.
