Meet wren

Meet Wren, a sweet-natured little puppy with a calm and gentle personality. She’s the perfect petite size and is not expected to grow very large, making her an ideal companion for just about any home.Wren was rescued alongside her mom, Willow (also available for adoption), after the two were spotted surviving near a very busy Tennessee highway for days before finally being safely caught. Despite her rough start, Wren is settling beautifully into foster life and gaining confidence more and more each day. This chill little girl loves her foster canine siblings and is learning all about being a dog by following their lead — along with guidance from her wonderful mama. She also does just fine around the household cats. Wren is already crate trained, happily going into her crate on command and sleeping through the night without any issues. She also rides very well in the car, relaxing patiently in her crate during trips. Housetraining and leash training are both in progress, and she’s making great strides. With her easygoing personality, Wren would do well in a home with or without other dogs, cats, or children, as long as she receives plenty of love, patience, and continued puppy training. This precious little girl is ready to find her forever best friend — and whoever adopts her is sure to fall completely in love.Name: WrenBreed: Dachshund/Crossbreed   (Breed Mix is not guarantee - no DNA testing has been done)Sex: FemaleAge: 12 weeksWeight: 10lbsSpayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue.
