Whiskey is a 1-year-old Belgian Shepherd with all the traits that make this breed so special - smart, social, and always ready for action. He came to us through a partner rescue after a Lancaster breeder decided to surrender him rather than provide care for a paw laceration he had sustained. Thankfully, he was quickly rescued, received the care he needed, and made his way into our hands, and now he's ready for his fresh start.
True to his breed, Whiskey is intelligent and thrives when he has both mental and physical outlets. He's been doing wonderfully with everyone here at the rescue, showing off his friendly personality and eagerness to connect. He's the kind of dog who wants to be part of your world whether that means training sessions, outdoor adventures, or just being your loyal companion.
Whiskey will do best in a home that understands and appreciates the needs of a Belgian Shepherd. He's looking for an experienced adopter who can keep his mind engaged, his body active, and continue helping him reach his full potential. In the right home, this boy is truly going to shine.
