Meet mr. smith
"A Hound's loyalty is his badge of honor, unwavering and unending." This makes us think of Mr. Smith, who will be such a fun and loyal companion! He is two years old and weighs 80 pounds. This magnificent dog has such presence!
Why we love him: Mr. Smith is such a happy-go-lucky, loving dog who gives the best hugs! He is a joy to be around! He truly lives in the moment and savors each and every day. There's a lesson there for all of us!
Mr. Smith is a very enthusiastic companion on daily walks and is glad to help you get your daily exercise! He would be a fine hiking or running buddy, too.
Mr. Smith has such fun running and playing in the fenced yard and loves the toys! After you take the lid off the toy box, he will remove each toy one by one. It's one of his favorite activities! We enjoy seeing him have such a great time. He will also roll around on the ground and kick up his legs in total joy.
Once he is done, Mr. Smith loves to hang out with you to enjoy the day. He is so friendly and affectionate and one of our favorite cuddle buddies.
Mr. Smith had a fun outing with one of our volunteers who reports: "Took handsome Mr. Smith on a date today! He rode perfectly in the car - some curiosity out the window at slower speeds, but mostly sat/laid peacefully in the back. We wandered around both Lowe’s and Home Depot, and Mr. Smith got all kinds of attention because of his stunning good looks. He took treats, pets, smiles, scratches very graciously from all sorts of folks, wagged his tail and eagerly approached many of them.
He can be strong and determined on a leash, but oh so gentle in so many other ways. I feel like he could be easily trained to do all kinds of things with just a little patience. He’s most definitely an old soul."
Mr. Smith is a bright dog who should master any commands you want to teach him.
He would do best in a home as the only dog where he can have you all to himself!
Take him home and the love, fun and devotion are guaranteed! Life with Mr. Smith will be an amazing adventure! Are you ready to begin the journey?
